Since Shashibo transforms into so many unique and intricate shapes, we wanted it to show off the beauty and mystery of the ever expanding universe that we live in. And that’s how the Shashibo Explorer Series was born. Each of the 3 puzzles is dedicated to a different part of our world, and each fold of the shape lets you discover more about it. The first Shashibo is dedicated to Earth - it is adorned with the map of our world, beautiful mountains as well as other beautiful features of our planet. The second puzzle is all about the Undersea - twist and turn the magnetic cube and lay eyes on beautiful coral reefs, underwater wildlife and more. And lastly, the third Shashibo is called Moon. For good reason too, because not only does it feature amazing space patterns, it’s round shape looks exactly like the moon itself!
Each Explorer Shashibo features a smooth matte finish that will satisfyingly slide beneath your fingers as you discover all of the shapes this puzzle has to offer.

Arguably our most popular series, the Shashibo Artist collection was a collaboration with the world renowned “Father of Digital Art,” Laurence Gartel. Gartel designed each and every single Shashibo with love, care and some of the most beautiful designs that we have laid eyes on. This collection can be distinguished by it’s hard, glossy finish and cool toned, trippy designs. The Confetti Shashibo is bright, happy and sure to lift everyone’s mood with it’s amazing patterns. The second, Chaos, puzzle is as complicated as it is beautiful. This Shashibo is for those who favor purple tones, but the perfectly matching colors will make it a bit harder to distinguish the shapes that you desire to find. And finally, the stunning Mystic Ocean Shashibo is a gorgeous blend of blueish tones that spread calmness and peace all around.

And finally, our most recent collection launch - the collaboration with the amazing team of Grateful Dead. The series features 4 colorful, glossy puzzle boxes that are the perfect representation of Grateful Dead and their motifs as well as Shashibo’s. The iconic Dancing Bears adorning the first puzzle have a hazy history. The brainchild of artist Bob Thomas, it is thought that he came up with the idea while looking at an antique printer font of a bear. Nothing says “Grateful Dead” more than the iconic Steal Your Face graphic of a skull and lightning bolt, which is featured on the second Shashibo. The iconic skeleton with a headpiece of roses does not have an official name, but it can be found on our thrid, Skull & Roses Shashibo. And lastly, our fourth Haight-Ashbury puzzle is a way for you to take a colorful trip back to their magical heyday, as it is a testament to San Francisco’s low rent Haight-Ashbury district that housed the band at the beginning of their careers.
